Itinerary

Day 1:
Laschamps - La Vache & Lassolas
2:30 to 3 hours walking / Night in a hotel room / + from 200 to 300 m
Meet at 2 pm in Laschamps in your accommodation or at 1 pm in front of the Clermont-Ferrand SNCF station (30 € / pers for a round trip). Installation in your accommodation. Departure at 14 pm for the Puys de la Vache and Lassolas, twin volcanoes of the Chaîne des Puys. You will climb without difficulty the slopes of these two magnificent volcanoes. Back in Laschamps, you will be disoriented by a strange phenomenon called magnetic inversion.

Day 2:
Puy de Dôme - Puy de Pariou / + from 400 to 500 m
5 to 6 hours walking / Night in a hotel room
Departure in the morning for the ascent of Puy de Dôme. Step by step, you will approach the giant of this Chain and by the "historical path of the muleteers" you will reach the "Temple of Mercury" on this summit full of history. After this 360 ° panorama, you will descend on the north side by "Le nid de la poule" to reach "Le Puy de Pariou", the youngest volcano in the Chaîne des Puys. Back to the pass of Ceyssat by a path without difficulty before finding your accommodation.

Day 3:
Lac Servières
Activity: 3 to 4 hours / + from 200 to 300 m
On the outskirts of a magnificent crater lake, with crystal clear waters and changing reflections, the estives will tell you about the old days when the shepherds made the creamy St Nectaire, this cheese of kings, in the "tras". Dispersion of the group in the late morning (free lunch). For those arriving by train, return to the station of Clermont-Ferrand at 1 pm.

Collective rooms for 5 to 6 people. Bathroom and shared toilets. Bring sleeping bag or sheets, as well as towels. Bolster case and cover at your disposal. Possibility to rent sheets : 6€50 a pair.

Lunch in the form of a box lunch ; The evening meals are warm and cooked.

How to get there ?
In order to limit your CO2 emissions, we encourage you to use public transport :
By train
Train station of Clermont-Ferrand. Numerous daily connections TER.
Meeting at 1 pm in front of the train station of Clermont-Ferrand on Day 1 and return to the train station of Clermont-Ferrand on Day 3 at 1 pm (40 €/pers for a round trip). To reach the meeting point from the railway station, consider booking a transport with your guide on + 33 6 78 40 36 79 (Christophe) / + 33 6 74 28 70 98 (Isabelle).
Otherwise, for another schedule from Clermont-Ferrand station in Laschamps, about € 35/taxi ride on weekdays and about € 50/taxi ride on Sundays and public holidays.
By road
20 km (20 mn) from Clermont-Ferrand, take the road to Orcine, direction Puy de Dôme. At the place called, "La Font de l'arbre", continue on the D941 for 3 km before turning on Laschamps.
If you come by car : Meeting at 2 pm directly at the hotel.
